Alumni News |
A recent addition to the team in the Development and Alumni office is Andrew Bishop. Those who were associated with Summer Fields between 1990 and 2016 may well remember him as APWB, Head of Maths, Lodgeparent (with his wife, Jane) of Upper House followed by Cottage, Master i/c Fives, and Deputy Headmaster (2001-15). In his final year here, as Senior Master, he worked alongside his replacement and then took up a semi-retirement post at Radley College as a part-time Maths teacher. He has now left Radley and will (on two mornings per week) be helping Daphne O’Connell and Laurence Dardenne with Alumni and Archives, respectively.
His aim will be to try to reconnect Old Summerfieldians with the school and with each other, and he will also be writing items for the Alumni website, featuring updates on OS news along with various reminiscences from the archives. If anyone would like to make contact with him and provide their latest news or some memories of Summer Fields, he would be delighted to hear from you (apwb@summerfields.com).
